Helping our students soar!

Our Mission

The W-G PTO is a volunteer, non-profit organization(501c3 status pending approval) that works exclusively on behalf of our children and educators through the cooperative efforts of our families, community and school staff. We do this by:

Fostering close working relationships between the school, parents/guardians, teachers, district and community
Providing a forum for discussion and communication between parents/guardians, administrators, teachers, district and the community
Enhancing the education opportunities and facilities for the students and staff of Woodward-Granger ELC & Elementary
Raising funds to support all these efforts!

Because we are passionate that it ‘takes a village’, membership is automatically granted to all parents and guardians of students attending Woodward-Granger ELC and Elementary and to all interested community members and staff employed at Woodward-Granger Community School District. There are no membership fees.

W-G welcome kit for new teachers

Monthly PTO Meetings

Join us on the 2nd Tuesday (Sept-April) at 6:30pm (in the W-G Elementary Media Center).

Coming to a meeting is a GREAT way to stay up-to-speed about what is happening at your children’s school and it does NOT automatically sign you up as a volunteer. 😉

What can you do?

Parents/guardians, grandparents, teachers, administrators and community members can all make an impact on our students & staff. You can get involved in the PTO in a variety of ways:

Attend our monthly meetings and give your input as we make decisions (You’re not automatically required to volunteer at events or sign up for additional responsibilities. 😉)
Send class pictures from field trips or class parties to us for the ELC & Elementary yearbook
Sign up to donate items for our bingo night prize pool or staff appreciation events
Like, share and tag friends on our Facebook posts
Donate (or ask others to donate)
